EPIC TRAVELS Members: A “new” K-pop group in 2024
We’re approaching the end of 2024, and a new K-pop group joins the scene every week. One of these is EPIC TRAVELS. After getting to know the members, we might not be able to call them a completely new group.
While Iron Entertainment might not be the most talked-about name in the K-pop industry, the entertainment company has been quietly working behind the scenes, rapidly growing its roster with new solo artists and groups. Recently, they announced the upcoming debut of a new group, EPIC TRAVELS, which is still in its pre-debut stage. For long-time K-pop fans, however, there’s a twist – this group is a re-debut, with members who’ve previously been part of other K-pop projects.
EPIC TRAVELS Members
K-pop is a constantly evolving industry; not every idol stays with the same group for their entire career. Some artists step out independently after their groups disband or go on hiatus. Ain, GI, Sangho, Jinhoo, and Eden are a few examples of this, and now they’re all part of the new group EPIC TRAVELS.
Ain
Ain was a rapper and a key member of TST (formerly known as Top Secret), a group that debuted in 2017. TST had a cool vibe, catchy songs, and great energy on stage. After Yohan’s death, the group officially disbanded in 2020.
After four years, Ain is ready to share music and connect with fans again, as one of the EPIC TRAVELS members.
GI
GI (real name: Kim Young-joon) was part of TARGET, a group that debuted in 2016 under KJ Music Entertainment. TARGET was all about fun, high-energy music, and GI’s powerful vocals helped set them apart. But like many K-pop groups, TARGET faced its struggles, and after going on a long hiatus, the group disbanded. After stepping back from the spotlight, GI wants to make a comeback as one of the members of EPIC TRAVELS.
Sangho
Sangho was part of SNUPER, a boy group that debuted in 2015 under Widmay Entertainment. However, after a few years, the group disbanded in 2018, and Sangho decided to take a step back from the industry. Fans are happy to hear he will return to music with EPIC TRAVELS. He will have a solid fanbase waiting for him.
Jinhoo
Jinhoo (Kim Jin-woo) was one of the main vocalists of UP10TION, a group that debuted in 2015 under T.O.P Media. UP10TION quickly made a name for itself with some successful songs, and Jinhoo was a key part of this success. However, after some health issues, Jinhoo took a brief break from the group in 2021. He eventually returned, but in 2022, UP10TION went on a long hiatus, which led fans to wonder what would happen next.
Jinhoo hasn’t been totally out of the spotlight, though. His skills in both music and acting have shown that he’s a true all-around entertainer. Fans are excited to see where his career will go with EPIC TRAVELS.
Eden
Eden was previously a member of WeNU. Unfortunately, the group had to disband. Despite this, Eden didn’t give up on his music career.
He continued to share his passion for music and songwriting talents, connecting with a growing fanbase. Now, Eden is gearing up for his next chapter with EPIC TRAVELS.
Will the members of EPIC TRAVELS be successful? We’ll all see what the future holds.
