Lovelyz releases new single to mark its 10th anniversary
K-pop girl group Lovelyz is back with a new single called “November” to mark its 10th anniversary.
Lovelyz debuted in 2014, and its debut caused a major impact in the K-pop world, making it clear that it would become one of the most successful K-pop girl groups. This success was further boosted by the involvement of famous songwriters like Yoon Sang, who wrote the lyrics for some of Lovelyz’s songs, helping the group rise quickly.
Lovelyz’s discography includes two studio albums, seven EPs, four live albums, one compilation album, one single album, and numerous singles. Its debut studio album, Girls’ Invasion”, was released in 2014, marking the group’s introduction to the K-pop world. This album was later re-released as “Hi~” in 2015. In the same year, the group also released its first EP, “Lovelyz8”, followed by its first single album, “Lovelinus”, just three months later.
In 2016, Lovelyz released its second EP, “A New Trilogy”, which marked a shift in its sound and musical direction. Later in 2017, Lovelyz members dropped their second studio album, “R U Ready?”, followed by a re-release titled “Now, We”. Toward the end of 2017, the group released their third EP, “Fall in Lovelyz”.
The year 2018 saw the release of their fourth EP, “Heal”. In 2019, their fifth EP, “Sanctuary”, was released, further exploring different musical styles. 2020 released their seventh EP, “Unforgettable”, marking a long-awaited return for the group after a hiatus.
After a seven-year partnership, Lovelyz parted ways in 2021 following the expiration of their contract with Woolim Entertainment. While fans had been waiting for their return, exciting news came from the group.
Today, at 6:00 PM KST, Lovelyz members will release their new single, “November.” With this single, they will also be celebrating their 10th anniversary together.
