BTS’ “DNA” Hits Over 1.6 Billion Views, Marking the Group’s Third Milestone Record

BTS continues to break records. Their iconic music video for “DNA,” the lead track from their 2017 album LOVE YOURSELF 承 ‘Her, has surpassed 1.6 billion views on YouTube.
“DNA” marks the third BTS music video to hit the impressive 1.6 billion-view mark, following the success of “Dynamite” (1.8 billion views) and “Boy With Luv” (Feat. Halsey) (1.4 billion views).
Released in September 2017, “DNA” is known for its upbeat and infectious energy, blending electro-pop with acoustic guitar elements. The song celebrates the passionate and pure love of youth, encapsulated in the lyrics:
“The two of us are fatefully intertwined from the beginning and are one from our DNA.”
The video, which opens with an ear-catching whistle, features seamless transitions between virtual reality and outer space. At the same time, BTS delivers powerful, synchronized performances that showcase both individual and group dynamics.
