K-pop: Pix!e released its debut single

K-pop girl group Pix!e released its debut single “Iced Coffee” on October 23, 2024.

Pix!e is a Filipino K-pop girl goup. Its formation efforts began in June 2023 with Dreamcloud Media. Among many trainees, Hana, Nicole, Pearl, Jane, Kath, Jazrene, and Mita were selected to be members of Pix!e.

The group immediately started working on its single. Like all K-pop groups, the members underwent rigorous dance and vocal training. On March 7, 2024, it announced its contract with one of the Philippines’ largest record companies, Viva Records, on Instagram. On the same day, the group also announced that Jazrene had left the group. In its statement, the group mentioned that there has been a lot of discussion about the matter and announced that Jazrene decided to leave Pix!e for mental health reasons.

Today, after releasing their single, Pix!e members met their fans live for the first time as the opening act for Matt x Earl x Kylu at Viva Cafe, in Quezon City.
